Raymond Charles Setzekorn, 84, of Du Bois, passed away at 12:38 A.M., Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Walnut Park Estates in Hoyleton, Ill.
Raymond had worked as a mechanic for Freeman United Coal Mine #3 and had also worked at W.C. Nierman for twenty years.  He was a member of St. Marks United Church of Christ in Du Bois and UMW of A.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II.
He was born May 21, 1920 at Du Bois, the son of John and Isabelle (Mydler) Setzekorn.
He married Georgia L. Williamson on January 21, 1948 at Washington County, Ill. and she preceded him in death on July 9, 1982.
He is survived by one son - Dennis Setzekorn of Du Bois, one daughter - Patsy Johnson of Highland and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters and two brothers.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Du Bois with Rev. Tom Ellison officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Interment will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery at Du Bois.
Friends may make memorials to the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
